L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Nail Varnish 340 Spice Things Up

L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Nail Varnish Collection has made its way into almost all beauty shopping sites and today I have the shade – 340 Spice Things Up to show you!

But before that, let me tell you a quick story. Can you guess when did I pick this shade from this collection which is now all over the sites?

It has been freaking 4.5 yrs!

Now, I will let you think why it took forever to reach India. Lol!

Anyways, this is my favorite shade from this collection and here are the swatches of L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Nail Varnish 340 Spice Things Up

What I love –

  1. It is one the beautiful shades from this collection
  2. It is like a peachy-brown but slightly on darker side
  3. It has an amazing crème formula which glides on super smooth
  4. It applies opaque in a single coat of polish
  5. It dries considerably quick
  6. It suits any skin tone

What I do not Love –

  1. None

This color somehow reminds me of Lily MayMac Holy Rose from 3CELily MayMac Holy Rose from 3CE. While Holy Rose has strong hints of orange, this one is more subtle and deviates towards peach.

That said, unlike the recent collection from L’oréalthe recent collection from L’oréal, the brush isn’t wide enough. It takes 2-3 swipes to cover the nail. Nevertheless, it doesn’t apply streakily or goes transparent with a single coat.

Plus, the formula is so gorgeous that one need not apply a top coat. But I do it as a ritual so I can save the color from getting dull and chip off at the ends. Not that it chips off but it definitely makes the color last longer than usual!

This definitely is my go to polish at the moment (again). What did you love from this collection of L’oréal?

L’Oreal Paris Magic Lumi Light Infusing Liquid Facial Primer

I wanted to try a little more of this before I started pitching it as my absolute favorite, so the delay. I have been using L’Oréal Paris Magic Lumi Light Infusing Liquid Facial Primer for the last 3 months and it seriously is my holy grail product. I have used MAC Prep + Prime for almost 2 yrs now in a row and never had a complaint. I still don’t, it is as fabulous as I can remember but I think I was looking for a little more than just a fabulous primer.
For all the good, MAC Primer doesn’t cut out the yellow tinge of my skin and worst, the foundation adds a little more making my skin at times look too warm toned that it usually is.
And when I heard Lydia Millen mention (on Snapchat a few months ago) about L’Oréal Paris Magic Lumi Light Infusing Liquid Facial Primer I had to try.

This L’Oréal Paris Primer is like any other primer but lighter in formula and gives a pearly-dewy finish. It cuts out the yellow tone on my skin and using a MAC foundation over it means a healthy and glowy looking skin for me.

I have never received so many compliments before on my skin and makeup. Lumi definitely made my crappy skin look a lot better than it usually is.

And this is slightly cheaper than the MAC Prep + Prime which is definitely a blessing. Plus, it gives a bright and healthy glow to the skin whilst keeping it light weight. It is nothing close to a moisturizer so an added moisturizer in the routine is a must. It is more like a skin perfector, adding a healthy glow to the skin and phasing out the fine lines for a radiant and perfected finish.

Can you see the skin tone difference? It’s cut out the yellow/warm tinge of the skin.

Much said, here are few things why I absolutely Love this –

  • Part –illuminator and part primer
  • Wear this primer along with the setting powder (tinted in my case) and still look radiant
  • Offers super levels of service especially when it comes to crap skin rescue

Price – 12.99$, Walgreens

1825 ₹, eBay.in

The only hassle is its availability. This is currently not available in India and I got mine from Walgreens.

It’s been 3 months since I started using this and I absolutely love it. So before I run out of this and waste my time and energy hunting for the dupe, I have ordered 2 more as backup and I should be getting my stuff by this month end. So am all sorted out for few more months (or at least till I can get packages from the US again).

So if you are making a US shopping list, then include L’Oréal Paris Magic Lumi Light Infusing Liquid Facial Primer as well. I promise you won’t ever regret!

Which primer is your absolute favorite at the moment and why?

I would love to know your favorites, do share in the comments section below
